Around 80 prominent business delegates gathered at the London Stock Exchange to hear First Minister Nicola Sturgeon talk about why Scotland is a great investment location.

Figures published yesterday show that ‘risk capital’ – investment in new, growing businesses – was up 20 per cent to £244m in 2014 in Scotland.

The results represent a five-year growth of 90 per cent and show increasing confidence in the Scottish business market.
