The First Minister Nicola Sturgeon launched the Oor Wullie BIG Bucket Trail 2019. Over 150 life-sized Oor Wullie sculptures will be displayed throughout Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness and Dundee to raise awareness of Scotland’s national children’s hospital charities.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said:
This is a hugely important cause. And what better way of supporting it than by using one of Scotland’s best loved characters. I hope that as many organisations as possible sign up to sponsor the different sculptures.
That will help to get the Our Wullie Bucket Trail 2019 off to the best possible start. And it will help to make a hugely positive difference to the lives of children and young people, across Scotland.”
