The First Minister met staff and volunteers who helped refurbish the premises and got a tour of the new dedicated appointment rooms and offices.
She said:
The Rape Crisis Centre in Glasgow has been at the forefront of supporting the victims of sexual violence for more than 40 years. The centre provides a vital service in the most diverse part of Scotland where many people find it hard to access support.
“The newly refurbished premises will help Glasgow & Clyde Rape Crisis continue to deliver their outstanding services and I’m confident they will go from strength to strength.”
FM said: "Today's expansion is testament to the hard work and dedication of staff and volunteers & I'm delighted to be part of the event." pic.twitter.com/VhjLoNqDSA
