Eight-year-old Lauren Ferguson along with ‘Flat Stanley’ visited the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon at Bute House.
The Flat Stanley Project allows children to connect with others by mailing their ‘flat’ visitors through letter boxes throughout the world. The children are then asked to keep a diary of the adventures their flat character goes on whilst on holiday.
Lauren is helping her friend who lives in California with her project. So far, Lauren’s friend’s Flat Stanley has visited some well known Scottish attractions including Edinburgh Castle, the Kelpies and Scots Monument.
