The First Minister began the week with a day of engagements in Pitlochry, beginning at the SSE’s new Pitlochry Dam Visitor Centre.
The FM officially opened of Centre, a brand new facility on the banks of the Faskally Hydro scheme, where she met some of the men who helped build the Dam in the 1950s.
The First Minister then chaired a meeting of the Cabinet in the Centre before moving on to the Pitlochry Festival Theatre to host a public discussion. More than 260 residents had the chance to quiz Cabinet Secretaries on issues of the day, with questions ranging from national transport policy to the facilities in the town.
